The Seoul Beauty Report tracks what’s actually selling at Olive Young — Korea’s largest beauty retailer — not survey scores, not sponsored placements, just weekly sales data.

We flag the gap between what’s topping charts in Korea and what’s landed in the U.S., so you see it before it’s everywhere.

The Seoul Beauty Report is run from Seoul by a marketing professional working across Korean and global consumer brands. No hype, just what Korea is actually buying.

How the data works

Rankings are collected weekly from Olive Young’s Korea sales chart (online + offline). Movement, new entries, and “Korea vs. Global” availability gaps are calculated automatically from our own week-to-week archive. Product notes attribute any functional claims to the manufacturer; seasonal and market context is our own read, labelled as opinion. Full detail — sourcing, collection cadence, what is calculated versus written, and the limits — is on the How We Track This page.
